„An onshore reconnaissance to assess the bridge passages and the overall transit through Donauwörth is advisable due to changing water levels and current conditions. Since 2019, planning has been underway for flood protection within the urban area. Additionally, a safe navigation channel near the Danube bridge extending to the so-called ‚Old Danube Port‘ is to be established, along with docking, undocking, and launching facilities for pleasure craft on the left bank in this section.“
